The ambience of our guesthouse is deliberately kept simple and natural, the spacious rooms and apartments are individually furnished with mainly antique country house furniture.
The three-hectare grounds around the house hold a favorite spot for everyone - whether you prefer to lie in the garden under old trees with a good book and a coffee, make a campfire at the fireplace with wood at the ready, explore the wild pond biotope and our large tree house, or make friends with our chickens, cats, dogs and ponies.
In the tranquility of the countryside, our yoga and ayurveda seminars offer various paths to physical, mental and spiritual well-being. Certified organic quality is a special concern for us. That is why we decided some time ago to become a BIO HOTEL.
Our pastures and farmland are certified organic as well. The field is cultivated by our vegetable farmer Jan Schütt, who brings us the vegetables directly from the field to the kitchen. In our kitchen garden we grow fruit, vegetables and lettuce according to permaculture guidelines. Our four ponies and one horse run on the pastures and enjoy a relaxed retired life.

The Wadden Sea National Park, which was declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site in mid-2009, begins just one kilometre from Haus am Watt: An ecosystem unique in the world, inhabited by a fascinating animal and plant world and whose rhythm is determined by wind, water, mudflats and salt marshes.
You can breathe the fresh sea air on one of the green bathing beaches. A beautiful small bathing beach is 4 kilometres away from us and easy to reach by bike.

Ein verlängertes Wochenende Hygge-Auszeit mit Yoga und vegetarisch/ veganen Essen. Die Inhaberin, sowie ihre Angestellten sind unglaublich nett, herzlich und zuvorkommend. Hier fühlte ich mich direkt wie zu Hause. Der Koch zeuberte am Abend abwechslungsreiches und ausgewogenes vegetarisches und veganes Abendessen, Alles hausgemacht und in bio-Qualität. Oberklasse! Mittags gab's von der Chefin eine schmackhafte (Reste-) Suppe (Thema Nachhaltigkeit!). Morgens stand ein liebevolles Buffet, mit selbstgebackenen Brötchen (Oberhammer), div. Aufstriche, pflanzliche Proteinquellen und Porrige dort. Am Nachmittag selbstgemachter Kuchen bereit. Kaffee und Tee gab es den Tag über zur freien Verfügung. Die Yogasessions mit Susanne Giebler waren nährend, meditativ, entspannend und entschleunigend - gerne wieder. Für mich das einzige Manko - das altmodische und heruntergekommende Zimmer (Nr. 10). Es hatte Alles seinen Nutzen, für das Geld hätte ich mir jedoch mehr Komfort und Ausstattung gewünscht. Alles in Allem: absolute Weiterempfehlung!

4 Tage Urlaub im November... da muss man zwangsläufig nicht auf max. an ☀️ hoffen. Also sind das Haus und das Essen der Schwerpunkt . Zimmer 11 top renoviert. Antike Möbel, ein gutes Bett (eher mit fester Matratze), ein erfreulich geschnittenes Bad mit Wanne. Wertige Armaturen. Manufaktum lässt grüßen . Die Dielen knarren, wie bei alten Häusern üblich, herrlich. Gegessen wird gemeinsam auf der großen Diele im Erdgeschoss. Die Diele wird mit einer Pelletheizung gut erwärmt .

Ich habe als Anfängerin mit ein paar mehr Kilos auf den Hüften eine Woche Yoga mit Ashwani Bhanot. Es war ein toller Kurs, wo jeder sehr gut nach seinen Fähigkeiten, achtsam und nett betreut wurde. Ashwani hat alle, egal auf welchem Level man war, gut einbezogen. Von Entspannung über Flexibilität und Kräftigung war alles dabei , auch über die Philosophie habe sehr viel mitgenommen. Entspannungsplätze gab im Garten genug. Ein tolles Rundumpaket mit sehr netten Personal, sehr leckere Küche und schönem Ambiente. Tolles Haus und tolles Konzept.

Tolle Unterkunft mit leckerem Frühstück und Abendessen. Brot und Brötchen werden selbst gebacken und schmecken sehr gut! Der Garten lädt zum verweilen ein. Der nächste Badestrand ist mit dem Rad in 30 Minuten erreichbar. Die Mitarbeitenden geben gerne Tips zu Ausflügen und sind generell sehr hilfsbereit.

Tolle Location zum Entschleunigen. Das Team war extrem nett und das Essen sehr lecker. Morgens hätte ich mir etwas Abwechslung beim Käse gewünscht, aber das ist Jammern auf hohem Niveau. Unsere Unterkunft war in einem neu sanierten alten Bauernhaus mit einem riesigen Naturgarten mit Außenmöbeln zum Entspannen und Sonnen. Die Räume sind alle sehr geschmackvoll und gemütlich eingerichtet und die ganze Anlage war sehr sauber. Die Betten waren himmlisch! Das Yogaprogramm mit Kristin war ebenfalls toll und die anderen Ausflüge haben auch sehr viel Spaß gemacht. Insgesamt eine sehr runde Sache für Menschen, die einfach mal die Natur und gutes Essen genießen wollen und Spaß am Yoga haben.

Expertly accompanied by the alternative practitioner Dagmar Dührsen, with which in this week simple and effective measures are learned, in order to relieve the body and do themselves something good.In this week you can relieve your body in a gentle way of residues, which often make us heavy and sluggish and burden the tissues and the mind - in order to start then with new momentum in everyday life.
The lovingly prepared food is reduced to the Ayurvedic healing food during this week, supplemented by broths, herbal teas and herbal powders. Ayurvedic fasting does not mean a complete deprivation of food, but the restriction to a few foods, a lot of drinking, supplemented by Ayurvedic herbs and spices. So also the pleasure does not come too briefly.
In the morning we meet to practice two hours of relaxed yoga. The calm and mindful exercises with body, breath and mind support the purification and relief of the system. Far away from everyday life, you will find peace and deep relaxation. Previous knowledge of yoga is not required.
Further relaxation is provided by the wonderful Ayurvedic oil massages with the precious herbal oils, which have a cleansing effect from the outside and release metabolic residues from the tissues.
Otherwise, there is plenty of time to enjoy the peace and nature, read, take walks, simply be with yourself and recharge your batteries.
The course leader Dagmar Dührsen is welfare practical woman with emphasis Ayurveda and works for over 20 years in the movement therapy with humans, over it came it to the Yoga, which it teaches since 2003.

from € 1020,-Every morning we meet for two hours of yoga practice in the spacious, beautiful yoga room at Haus am Seedeich. There is a relaxed mix of dynamic and static exercises with attention to the alignment of the body and the experience of the breath. We take plenty of time to experience the relaxing effects of the breathing exercises. In case of health problems, the exercises can of course be adapted. We do small meditative stillness exercises, short excursions into yoga philosophy that is still relevant today, and chanting of mantras. Previous knowledge of yoga is not required.
Afterwards, a delicious breakfast awaits us. Also lunch and dinner will be delicious and lovingly cooked vegetarian/vegan, Ayurvedic adapted. For even more relaxation and energy, everyone gets an Abhyanga (Ayurvedic full body massage) and a partial body massage of choice with the wonderful Ayurvedic herbal oils, which are individually selected. from € 1225,-We start the day with two hours of yoga classes. We practise with the body, breath and mind with a lot of calm and attention. We can learn a lot about ourselves, relax and find more serenity and energy. No previous knowledge of yoga is required.
In the afternoons, we will go on excursions by bike or car and explore the area, the destinations may vary depending on the season and weather conditions.
We will always include a day in St Peter Ording, which we will spend on the huge, beautiful sandy beach with its dune landscape. We will eat out on this day. A must on the North Sea is of course a mudflat hike, during which the mudflat guide will tell us lots of interesting facts about this unique habitat.
Depending on the length of the seminar, one or two further excursions will be planned on site at short notice, depending on the weather and what is on offer, for example a birdwatching tour with NABU in the Katinger Watt, a guided tour of the town, a visit to partners of Haus am Watt, for example a Frisian sheep's cheese dairy and/or organic farmers in the region, whose products (cheese/vegetables) are served fresh here.

Muscles and organs - from the stomach, kidneys, intestines, heart and circulation to the brain - are stimulated in this wonderful North Sea air. Of course, this also strengthens the immune system. Whether you have previous experience or not, everyone who wants to try something new is welcome here.
Yoga, on the other hand, is a completely different kind of journey of discovery: Gentle, flowing and static yoga exercises that merge with the breath bring you directly into contact with yourself. This can open doors and bring about relaxation. The gentle yoga practice, which leaves plenty of room to feel and is geared towards your own possibilities, takes the pressure off. Shaking techniques support you in this. Powerful stillness and clarity in the flow of movement become a pleasure and by playing with sounds and mantras, the whole body and especially the heart come into vibration.
We will practise one and a half to two hours of yoga every day (except on the day of arrival and departure) and, depending on the weather, we will also spend one and a half to two hours outside on five days with playful Nordic walking units. If the weather doesn't allow you to go outside, there will also be a yoga session in the afternoon.
To discover the special features of the area, there will be a guided tour of the mudflats on one day. And of course we will also take a trip to the beautiful sandy beach of St. Peter Ording, where we will discover the beach with our Nordic walking poles with a view and a play of clouds.

from € 1195,-Every morning we meet for two hours of yoga practice in the spacious, beautiful yoga room at Haus am Seedeich. There is a relaxed mix of dynamic and static exercises with attention to the alignment of the body and the experience of the breath. We take plenty of time to experience the relaxing effects of the breathing exercises. In case of health problems, the exercises can of course be adapted. We do small meditative stillness exercises, short excursions into yoga philosophy that is still relevant today, and chanting of mantras. Previous knowledge of yoga is not required.
Afterwards, a delicious breakfast awaits us. Also lunch and dinner will be delicious and lovingly cooked vegetarian/vegan, Ayurvedic adapted. For even more relaxation and energy, everyone gets an Abhyanga (Ayurvedic full body massage) and a partial body massage of choice with the wonderful Ayurvedic herbal oils, which are individually selected. Dagmar will be happy to advise you on the choice of massage.
Otherwise, there is plenty of free time to explore the beautiful North Sea coast - by bike (rental bikes are available) or on foot. Time to read, laze around, watch the animals and enjoy a piece of delicious homemade cake.
